What we collect when you join The Jumu'ah Hour, why, where it's kept, and how to have it removed.

Who we are
Path to Allah is a faceless Islamic page (@path.too.allah) run from India. We run this website, pathtooallah.com, and a free weekly letter called The Jumu'ah Hour. For anything about your data, email [email protected].
What we collect
- Your email address, when you sign up.
- Your first name, only if you choose to give it.
- When you signed up, and which group you joined.
- Whether you open or click our emails. Our mailing service records this so we can see which letters are useful and stop sending to inboxes that never open.
We don't ask for anything else. We don't use advertising trackers or analytics cookies on this site.
Why we use it
Only to send you The Jumu'ah Hour, one email a week, plus a single welcome email when you join. The legal basis is your consent: you asked for the letter by signing up, and you can withdraw that at any time.
We never sell, rent or share your email with anyone for their own use.
Who handles it for us
- Sender.net stores the list and sends the emails. Sender is based in the European Union.
- Cloudflare hosts this website. Like any web host, it briefly processes your IP address to deliver the page and protect it from attacks.
- Google Fonts serves the fonts on this page, which means your browser asks Google's servers for them.
Each of these companies is only allowed to use your data to provide their service to us.
How long we keep it
For as long as you're subscribed. If you unsubscribe, you stop getting emails straight away. Sender keeps a record that you unsubscribed so you're never emailed again by mistake. If you'd like that record deleted too, email us and we'll remove it completely.
Your rights
You can ask us to show you what we hold about you, correct it, delete it, or stop using it. Email [email protected] from the address you signed up with, and we'll reply within 30 days, usually much sooner.
If you're in the UK or the EU and you're unhappy with how we've handled your data, you can also complain to your data protection authority. In the UK that's the Information Commissioner's Office (ico.org.uk).
Unsubscribing
Every letter has an unsubscribe link at the bottom. One click and you're off the list.
Changes
If we change this page, we'll update the date at the top. If a change affects how we use your email, we'll tell you in the letter first.
